Sicardi Gallery presents a three-person exhibition of recent work about place and landscape in Brazil. Including Ana Maria Tavares (b. 1958, Brazil), Melanie Smith (b. 1965, England), and Clarissa Tossin (b. 1973, Brazil), the exhibition includes sculpture, painting, and photography; in each work, the artists probe the workings of modernism, challenging simple notions of landscape as decorative or undeveloped.
