In the essay, “Geraldo de Barros: Free, Freed and Freeing,” Fernando Castro constructs a taxonomy to catalogue six photographic processes the artist used to create his graphic, and frequently abstract, visual statements. This richly-designed catalogue is a mini-retrospective of de Barros’s many contributions to photography.
