Through the monumental optical game of redesigning painted crosswalks, Cruz-Diez transformed the social experience of passersby during the 2010 Art Basel art fair in Miami Beach. His painted cross-walk leading to the entrance of the fair engaged with visual rhythms and used his characteristic line structures to create an interaction with the visitor.
