Line as Object
Curated by Brigitte Kölle and Petra Roettig, this exhibition surveys Gego’s artistic career through her use of unconventional materials and construction of large-scale installations. Born in Hamburg in 1912, Gego studied architecture from 1932-1938 before moving to Venezuela. Gego: Line as Object presents many of the artist’s most important works in the city of her birth for the first time.
