Liliana Porter: Selection of early work and a reflection about the present

Sicardi Gallery is pleased to announce a solo exhibition of work by Liliana Porter at the Museo Nacional de Artes Visuales in Montevideo. The exhibition brings together an important selection of works made between 1968 and 1975, during the artist's first few years in New York City, where she quickly became one of the preeminent Latin American conceptual artists working there. This is the museum's third solo exhibition of work by Porter, and it is accompanied by an exhibition catalog with texts by Enrique Aguerre, Hans-Michael Herzog, Adriana Gallo, and Liliana Porter
