Mobius in the Making: An Afternoon with Marta Chilindrón
Join us to celebrate Marta Chilindrón’s Houston Mobius, which will be the inaugural installation of the Public Art of the University of Houston System’s (PAUHS) new Temporary Public Art Program.

In conjunction with the concurrent Latino Art Now! Conference, the panel will feature Marta Chilindrón in conversation with María C. Gaztambide, Director and Chief Curator of PAUHS, and architect Joe Meppelink, who oversees the fabrication of Houston Mobius. The event will provide a behind-the-scenes view of the making of this major project. Chilindrón’s sculpture prototypes will be available for viewing and engagement during the reception.
Free and open to the public but seating is limited. Please RSVP by April 3.
Metered visitor parking can be found in front of the Moores Opera House at the Zone B parking lot or across campus. Please follow signs guiding you to the event.
